Each year there is an emergence of new fashion trends and styles. Sometimes some old trends return and these iconic styles are around for a long duration worldwide. So what are the new Fashion Trends that have been introduced this year and will there be any more? Let’s break it down!
What Fashion Trends have been introduced this year?
Vintage pieces have been around for a while but this year this trend is making waves. It’s a cheaper alternative to having designer brands or labels and can still elevate your look. I feel like this year everyone will have a pair of Vintage clothing in their Arsenal. Vintage pieces like; Cargos, Boots, Sunglasses and Sweater fits have been seen more often as it’s more comfortable but stylish sample pieces.
Streetwear Chic has always been ever present as it’s comfort clothing but you can amend your casual fit to look classier with an edge. Another common trend is the use of functional clothing. Last year I’d see more people wearing man bags or body bags but now people opt to wear Cargos and Overcoats as they have a lot of pockets so enough space to store all your essentials.
This year skinny fits will be out of trend I believe as stated above, people dress for comfort more now than ever, so baggy bottoms or straight cut fit should be part of your rotation.
Monochromatic outfits will be a predominant way to style out this year. It is for more of a low-key dressing tone as it’s often one colour head to toe or mix neutral tones but we will see a lot of this on display.
